Senior Administrative Services Analyst - Material Management

The County of Riverside's University Health System-Behavioral Health is seeking a regular Senior Administrative Services Analyst to join their Material Management team.

Under direction, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Value Analysis/Medical Center Purchasing team in: facilitating contract negotiations with vendors to establish services requested by department, assessing purchase requests for efficiency and value, troubleshooting any issues related to contract deliverables directly with vendors, ensuring consistency and uniformity in pricing for items used department wide ; analyzing and reviewing complex budgetary information, staffing and other related administrative details to provide recommendations to management, formulating solutions to difficult administrative problems, reviewing and monitoring expenditures of multiple programs or projects, and performing other related duties as required.

This position is located in Riverside.

The Senior Administrative Services Analyst is the lead level classification in the Administrative Services Analyst series and reports to an administrative or executive manager level position.

The Senior Administrative Services Analyst differs from the Administrative Services Analyst II in that the former acts in a lead capacity of administrative services for a division or unit within a department.

The most competitive candidates will have the following professional experience and knowledge:


* At least 2 years of experience in vendor relations and/or supply chain field


* At least 2 years of experience reviewing financial data


* At least 2 years of experience reviewing contracts


* Peoplesoft Financials


* Simpler


* Microsoft Excel and Lists

These positions has a 9/80 schedule starting at either 7:00am - 4:30pm.

The 9/80 day off may be non-payday Friday.
