Permanent - Cashier -Dubai

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


* Greets customers including answering phones and directing customer inquiries to appropriate party.


* Answers routine billing questions/issues from customers.


* Assists in the opening and closing of the store which includes and but not limited to cash handling and deposits.


* Completes, processes, and maintains applicable paperwork and records.


* Identify prices of goods using memory or scanner.


* Enter transactions in the cash register and provide customers with the total bill.


* Sort and count currency and coins.


* Issue receipts and change to customers.


* Count money at the end and beginning of each shift.


* Process credit card and check payments.


* Perform the duties of customer service representative when required.


* Assist in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and marking prices.


* Open and close tills.

REQUIREMENTS


* A minimum of 3 years of experience in cashiering.


* Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, handling high volumes of transactions efficiently, preferably in retail luxury.


* Demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively within a team of at least 10 staff members.


* Excellent oral and written communication skills.


* Detail oriented and highly observant.


* Ability to multitask.


* Proven good customer experience background.
