Role reports to: Engineering Manag

Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

What you will do

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing repairs, coordinating equipment installations, preparing reports, and providing training and mentoring on equipment repairs and safety procedures:

Part A: Overall Responsibility
Develop site maintenance team by assisting the department lead to effectively implement maintenance deliverables, drive standardization, and deliver systematic improvement programs and manufacturing enabled innovation.

Provide leadership, support, and technical expertise to enhance site performance.

Part B: Principal Responsibility

• Work with Regional Maintenance to execute and monitor site maintenance performance.

• Drive and maintain Maintenance Equipment Excellence (ME2) initiatives for growth and improvement.

• Identify opportunities and implement all agreed initiatives effectively using JJPS as a vehicle and eCMMS system (IBM Maximo®) through proper planning and supervision and driving for successful project closures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with all stakeholders to meet all FPOs flawlessly.

• Ensure all Maintenance documentation is executed in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.

• Ensure all Work Orders (WO) and Maintenance Checklists are reviewed accordingly.

• Ensure overall planning and scheduling of Maintenance and Facilities activities.

• Provide support and leadership to ensure efficient and effective utilization of plant's assets through ME2 initiatives, addressing all problems related to equipment, human skill, and system deficiencies.

• Lead reliability and PM improvement, focusing on FMECA, RCPS, Asset Management and Spare Parts Management.

• Support in NC/CAPA, safety, and quality audit findings.
