UI/UX Designer

What you will do to contribute to the company's success



* Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to identify customer pain points and business opportunities, ensuring design solutions align with both user needs and company initiatives.


* Plan and execute user research studies, including interviews, surveys, and usability tests, to gather insights that inform design decisions.


* Choose and develop the appropriate design deliverables-such as wireframes, prototypes, or journey maps-to solve user problems while maintaining alignment with the long-term UX vision.


* Share design concepts, prototypes, and rationale with stakeholders, gathering feedback and iterating as needed.


* Document clear and detailed design specifications for developers to ensure accurate implementation.


* Partner with developers to validate and refine the final product, ensuring design quality and usability standards are met.


* Maintain and improve the design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, flexibility, and simplicity across all digital products.


* Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, championing user-centered design while balancing business objectives and technical constraints.

Qualifications



* 5+ years of experience designing web and mobile applications, preferably within e-commerce platforms.


* Ability to navigate ambiguity, turning challenges into opportunities for creative solutions.


* Strong design craft with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.


* Deep understanding of common web design patterns, usability principles, and user-centered design best practices.


* A strong online portfolio showcasing UX-focused work for web and mobile applications, including at least one case study demonstrating the full design process.


* Proficient in Figma or Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to create high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and UI components.


* Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.


* Knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines, web standards (W3C, Section 508), prototyping best practices, web analytics, and SEO principles.
