National Account Manager Senior Manager
Oversees and develops experienced leveled professionals and in some instances may be
responsible for subordinate managers.
Has leadership visibility with key national clients and
influences client strategies to support retention and growth.
Impacts the output of key
discipline within a function; utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and experience to set
departmental goals which align with functional strategy.
Has input to strategy, and recommends
and implements policies that impact the greater department and leads activities of larger or
multiple areas.
Responsible for output of key discipline within a function and champions the
execution of projects/initiatives that typically have a greater impact on department and are more
visible and related to business strategies.
Establishes operational objectives and work plans
and delegates assignments to subordinates; frequently advises team(s) on moderately complex
matters.
Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect
immediate operations and may also have broader effect.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of NAMs, whose responsibilities include operational performance strategy and execution for Cigna clients with 3,000+ employee lives, ensuring account managers are executing book of business effectively, support the segment/region's growth and retention strategies
* Own the talent assessment and development of individual contributors
* Consult with sales matrix partner leadership to align on goals for segment/market and ensure team is effectively executing this work
* Collaborate with enablement and training teams in delivering timely and appropriate training for aligned team
* Manage and drive execution of a USE priorities and goals delegating responsibility to team members, project support resources and operational leaders for driving change management
* Consults and engages across multiple matrix partners to align on functional work alignment to deliver on the client experience in pursuit of the market's client retention and growth
* Collaborates across USE segment operation leadership to align on USE priorities and goals
* Influence the performance across multiple functions to delivery on the client experience that supports the segment/region's retention and growth goals
* Actively participate with NA sales leadership regional growth and retention meetings to align on developing, planning, and carrying out account management priorities and goals
* Collaborate with client services leadership to align on client experience and appropriately align goals across account team members
* Deliver on segment/region budget goals through appropriate review and approval of expenses.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of Cigna products/solutions/services across all product lines (Dental, Behavioral, Pharmacy, Medical, Clinical, and Wellness & Incentives)
