What do you get to do in this position?
* Primary responsibilities related to continuous engineering support and new product development or product transfer projects.
* Develops parametric models and drawings of electro-mechanical equipment, according to design intent and Schneider Electric best practices.
* Identifies and manages technical risks (i.e.
DFMEA, Part Criticality, FTA).
* Performs tolerance analysis and functional prototypes to ensure the adequate performance, assembly, and quality of the product.
* Lead and develop the definition of the verification and validation process according to the country's regulations and standards.
* Prepares complex and/or new solutions based on project scope and strategy.
* Close collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Marketing to complete projects on time, budget, quality, and safety.
* Manages and controls product files and documentation.

Technical Requirements
* B.S.
in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
* Must have at least 3 years of experience in R&D of electromechanical products.
* Knowledge of thermal and electromagnetic Management on Electrical Products is a plus.
* Knowledge of Mechanical functions on Electrical Products.
* Knows the typical customer application and the products involved.
* Material selection for electrical and mechanical applications, material comparisons.
* Understands the geographical context and constraints for the product catalog.
