Machine Setup - Injection Molding Setup Operator - 3rd Shift

Duties & Responsibilities:


* Perform mold changing, cleaning and minor mold repair


* Inspect parts under microscope to ensure quality


* Troubleshoot problems during machine operation


* Instruct machine operators on correct and safe operation of machine and auxiliary equipment


* Create and maintain activity logs 


* Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives

Qualifications:


* High school diploma or equivalent


* Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)


* Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals


* Knowledge of injection molding equipment (Arbug & Boy)


* Basic math skills and reasoning ability


* Must be able to stand, reach, twist for up to 8 to 10 hours per day


* Must be able to have hand movement up to 8-10 hours per day


* Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds


* Good visual skills for assessing part quality
