Maintenance Tech Lead

Starting Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Are you a skilled maintenance professional with leadership experience? Join our team as a Maintenance Tech Lead, where you'll oversee a team of electrical and mechanical technicians while also performing hands-on maintenance work.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a passion for safety and efficiency.
Compensation & Incentives

Base Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour, based on experience
Bonuses:

* 112 vacation hours annually, accruing at 4.31 hours per bi-weekly pay period

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Tech Lead, you'll be responsible for overseeing and supporting maintenance technicians while ensuring equipment runs smoothly.

Key duties include:


* Leading, coaching, and directing maintenance technicians.


* Developing and implementing preventive/predictive maintenance programs.


* Assigning and prioritizing work orders to ensure efficient operations.


* Monitoring technician progress and providing hands-on support when needed.


* Managing daily schedules and coordinating training opportunities.


* Upholding safety, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).


* Completing necessary documentation and utilizing maintenance software.


* Assisting in performance evaluations and employee development.


* Serving as a backup for the Maintenance Manager during absences .

What We're Looking For


* Education: High School Diploma or GED required.


* Experience: 2-year technical school preferred or 5+ years of related experience.


* Skills:
+ Ability to read and understand technical instructions.
+ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
+ Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, Excel, and Word).


* Certifications (Preferred but not required):
+ Forklift Certification
+ Scissor Lift Certification
+ Electrical Safety (NFPA 70E)
