Director of PMO - Veterans Evaluation Services

Maximus is currently looking for a Director of PMO to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team.
This is a remote job opportunity.
The Director of PMO coordinates and oversees project assignments and execution in accordance with approved project plans, ensures all project deliverables are on-time, within budget, and meet quality expectations.
- Due to contract requirements, only a US Citizen or a Green Card holder can be considered for this opportunity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee project assignments and execution in accordance with approved project plans, ensure all project deliverables are on-time, within budget, and meet quality expectations.
- May provide and oversee training of stakeholders, operations staff, clinical staff, management, test groups, users, and other relevant entities.
- Develop the organization's Project Management policies, processes, and standards in conjunction with applicable peers and leadership.
- Evaluate, create, and maintain company branding standards across all products and product lines in close coordination with Corporate Communications.
- Provide leadership and direct supervision to assigned employees, including setting goals, monitoring work performance, coaching and evaluating results to ensure that objectives are met.
- Interpret policies, procedures, and goals of the organization for the team.
- Direct experience developing & creating a Project Management Office (PMO) team from the ground up required.

Home Office Requirements Using Your Own Equipment:
- Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net)
- Preferred Windows or Mac (no Chromebooks)
o OS for Windows - Windows 10 or newer
o OS for Mac - Big Sur (11.0.1+); Catalina (10.15); MacOS (up to 12.5) or newer
- Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router
- USB plug and play wired headset with a microphone and noise suppression
- Private work area and adequate power source
- A second monitor is highly recommended for most positions
- Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
- 5+ years of leadership/management experience.
