Description
As an Activity Assistant in the Hospital & Health Care industry, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for patients through engaging and therapeutic activities.
Your primary focus will be to support and facilitate recreational and therapeutic programs that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs and develop individualized activity plans, ensuring a personalized approach for each patient.
This role requires a compassionate attitude and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of patients, supporting their recovery and encouraging their participation in a variety of activities that foster social integration and personal growth.
You will work closely with patients, staff, and families, creating a supportive environment that nurtures healing and wellness.
Your creativity and organizational skills will be essential in planning, organizing, and executing activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities.

Responsibilities
* Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating recreational and therapeutic activities for patients.
* Engage patients in activities tailored to their individual needs and interests.
* Monitor and document patient participation and progress in activities.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized activity plans.
* Support patients in physical and cognitive exercise programs to promote overall health.
* Maintain a safe and clean environment for all activities to ensure patient well-being.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to foster a positive environment.
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare, recreation, or related field preferred.
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting or activity coordination role is an advantage.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients and staff.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Creative mindset with the ability to plan and implement engaging activities.
* Compassionate and patient-centered approach to working with diverse patient populations.
* Basic knowledge of safety and health regulations in a healthcare setting.
