This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business helping our network of local cooperatives, independent dealers and other large retailers serve producers, and animal owners throughout the United States.

Our logistics team consists of many positions which work together to produce and deliver products to our customers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:


* Prepare and communicate daily production and receiving schedules


* Scale in all inbound/outbound trucks.


* Learn to optimize our production by partnering closely with the business to balance supply and demand


* Utilize metrics and scenario planning to help the businesses analyze data and make decisions and grow our business.

This position works closely with Customer Service, Plant Operations, Trucking companies, Ingredient suppliers, Procurement team, Ingredient planners, local Railroad, and Customers.

The candidate will need to be able to be trained in specific quality programs.

The ideal candidate is someone who can adapt quickly to changing priorities and stay agile in a fast paced work environment.

Required Education/Experience:


* High School Diploma


* 1+ years logistics experience or relevant experience


* Strong communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role.

Salary: $59,840 - $89,760
