Nursing Assistant - Regular Full-time and Per diem Pool

The County of Riverside's University Health System (RUHS) Medical Center seeks multiple Regular Fulltime and Per Diem Nursing Assistants to support various units and departments.

This job posting will serve to fill regular full-time and per-diem vacancies.

Under supervision, assists professional nursing personnel or other professional healthcare providers in providing basic patient care and treatment; observes patients via video monitoring equipment from a remote location; performs nonprofessional nursing duties in the care of physically and mentally ill patients; performs other related duties as required.

Float pool nursing assistants will provide support and assistance to various departments or units within RUHS, as needed.

Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific needs of the unit they are assigned to on a given day.

The Nursing Assistant is an entry level classification and typically reports to appropriate supervisory or management level nursing staff.

Incumbents may be assigned to any outpatient clinic or inpatient nursing unit across the Riverside University Health System (RUHS).

Regular Full-time Rates:

SALARY RANGE

$19.91 - $26.53 Hourly

$3,451.67 - $4,599.35 Monthly

$41,420.08 - $55,192.18 Annually

Regular-Fulltime Nursing Assistant Differentials:

Evening Shift Diff (6p - 11:00p) : $1.30 for the time actually worked between the hours

Night Shift Diff (11p - 6:00a) : $1.90 for the time actually worked between the hours

Per Diem Rate: SALARY $26.53 Hourly
$4,599.35 Monthly
$55,192.24 Annually

Per Diem Nursing Assistant Differentials:

Evening Shift Diff (3p - 11:30p) : $.35 for the time actually worked between the hours

Night Shift Diff (11:30p - 7:00a) : $.75 for the time actually worked between the hours

The RUHS-MC is a 24-hour facility - incumbents must be flexible to work any shift including weekends and holidays.
