Director, Subcontracting Strategy

Your Role

As the Director of Subcontracting Strategy at DEPCOM Power, you will lead the development and execution of strategic subcontracting initiatives to enhance our operational efficiency and project delivery capabilities.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping subcontracting frameworks, optimizing supplier relationships, and driving cost-effective solutions to support our company's growth and sustainability goals.

The Team

You will be a key member of the DEPCOM Power Supply Chain leadership team, collaborating closely with various internal and external stakeholders including business development, pre-construction, project delivery etc.

Your insights will guide our subcontract strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with company Vision and strategic priorities and industry best practices.

You will collaborate closely with a team of subcontracting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

What You Will Do



* Develop and implement a comprehensive subcontracting strategy that aligns with DEPCOM Power's Vision and strategic priorities.


* Identify and assess potential subcontractors, evaluating their capabilities, reliability, and alignment with project requirements.


* Develop and maintain executive relationships with key subcontractors ensuring alignment of incentives and mutually beneficial partnerships


* Support developing portfolio deals and negotiating master agreements with key subcontractors


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify subcontracting needs and opportunities for strategic improvement.


* Support subcontracts and project delivery


* Ensure knowledge sharing with the subcontracting team, promoting professional growth and knowledge sharing.


* Stay informed on industry trends and emerging subcontracting practices to drive innovation within the organization.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Experience in subcontracting, procurement, or supply chain management within the energy or construction industry.


* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.


* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

What Will Put You Ahead



* Experience in leadership and team management capabilities.


* Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.


* Extensive experience in strategic subcontracting and supplier relationship management.


* Familiarity with solar energy or renewable energy sector.


* Experience working with large-scale construction projects.


* Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies to support subcontracting processes.
