Guardian Glass is looking for an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer to join our team in Kingsburg, CA!

What You Will Do


* Partner with plant employees at all levels to build capability and ensure the EHS vision is adopted and integrated by the facility.


* Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements.


* Foster an environment where employees understand and exercise their decision rights on EHS


* Develop, propose, and be accountable for improvements.


* Develop and conduct training sessions for operations and supervisory staff.


* Support, identify, and solve EHS issues through plant leadership and operations.


* Develop risk assessment methods/systems for anticipating, identifying, and evaluating hazards


* Increase critical hazard awareness in the operation thereby reducing the likelihood of at-risk behaviors


* Partner with facility leadership and operation to develop and achieve EHS objectives


* Foster an EHS environment of collaboration and active participation with all employees


* Manage and utilize compliance and incident management

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial environment


* Experience leading and developing EHS initiatives and programs

What Will Put You Ahead


* Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Safety, Environmental, or related field


* Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other professional safety certifications


* Expertise in Health and Safety Management

For this role, we anticipate paying $90k - $110k per year.

This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.

This role is not eligible for sponsorship
