Electronics Technician

Primary Duties & Responsibilities


* Proficiency with general purpose test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.) is required


* Experience with RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.) is desired.


* A wide variety of assembly and fabrication experience is also desirable including proficiency with typical tools for electronic, electrical, and mechanical assembly.


* Experience with soldering and rework of board mounted electronic components (thru-hole and surface mount) is desired

Education & Experience


* Professional experience with electronics manufacturing and test


* H.S.

Diploma required
+ Associate degree, technical degree or military training preferred.


* 3 - 5 years of experience in RF electronics systems preferred.


* 3 - 5 Years of experience assembling laser-based automation systems (nice to have)


* Mind-set to constantly pursue the basic understanding or root cause of problems and to continually improve.


* Detail oriented with well refined troubleshooting skills and techniques while working under minimal supervision.


* Self-motivation and the ability to maintain effectiveness in working several tasks in parallel while bringing each to conclusion, in a timely manner.


* Personal time management, project management, and organizational skills.
