Data Center Sales Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth for the Digital Buildings National Strategic Accounts organization.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, as well as a strong background in sales management and team leadership.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for setting sales goals, developing sales strategies, and managing a team of sales representatives.
The primary focus of this role will be to lead the growth of our business in the Data Center vertical market.
What will you do?
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
* Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, guidance, and training as needed
* Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to increase sales opportunities
* Conduct market research to identify potential new customers and opportunities for growth
* Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
* Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management
* Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, offer management, and other business units, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives
* Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to sales activities
* Understand and implement sales compensation plans to appropriately incentivize sales individuals
* Manage cross-business unit engagement within Schneider to position salespeople for success
What qualifications will make you successful?
* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or sales management, preferably in a B2B sales environment
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Analytical mindset and ability to analyze sales data and identify trends
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
