The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for performing a variety of assignments that include independent evaluations using standard techniques, procedures and criteria using engineering judgement to make minor adoptions and modifications during the course of work.

What you'll do:


* Make decisions and recommendations in reference to test report results, project field circumstances and inspections


* Prepare and review inspection and testing reports, project procedural plans and specifications prepared by others


* Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for task assignments


* Attend client site meetings and review recommendations with Principal Consultant and/or Quality Manager


* Maintain and leverage client relationships and develop new project opportunities


* May perform on-site observations, sample collection, and specific tests and/or inspections


* May work both in the field and laboratory regularly

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from accredited engineering/ABET school


* 8 years' of civil engineering experience


* PE License


* Driver's license with acceptable driving record


* Day shift with 7am start time


* Ability to work off shifts and overtime


* Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance


* Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound


* Ability to kneel and squat occasionally


* Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
