Assistant Recreation Supervisor I
Starting Hourly Rate: $18.68
Leadership position responsible for overseeing employees and large boat rental operation.
Utilize and gain valuable skills for problem solving, priority management, critical thinking, conflict resolution, communicating well with diverse groups, and strong leadership are an essential part of this job.
Be in charge of a team of livery staff at our popular boat rentals providing customers with a fun river experience.
Enjoy time of the river for boat rentals are free for employees.
Assistant Recreation Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to, making cash-outs, handling deposits, inventory control, answering citizen complaints, supervision of employees, and implementations of policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
* Past supervisory experience
* Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.
The city offers CPR/AED and First Aid classes, which are free to Parks employees.
Please note, your certification must be from an organization that has been approved by the Bureau of Community and Health Systems, Child Care Licensing Division.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Past experience in recreation facility management
* Background and/or training which relates specifically to facility operation
* Experience with cash handling, staff management, and policy and procedure implementation

Operating office equipment requiring continuous or repetitive hand/arm movements.
The ability to remain in a sitting position for extended periods of time.
