T&E (Transactional and Edge) R&D Director

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global R&D and based in Bangalore, this R&D Director role is counted on demonstrating one's transformational leadership to lead R&D organization, and drive development of Global products, platforms and process innovation through collaboration with other R&D hubs and peer functions.

Experience Required:

• Overall experience of 15+ years in engineering domain (Electrical, Electronics, Embedded System or Software Engineering)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in leading a multidisciplinary research and development team of over 30 people.

• Minimum 10 years of experience with demonstrated success to work in a multinational company operated through its global supplier chain and high-volume production.

Qualifications Required:

Master's degree in in Electrical, Electronics, Embedded System or Software Engineering from a prestigious university.

To provide R&D leadership, vision and guidance to an engineering team having the mission to create profitable, differentiated solutions for a key offer portfolio of Schneider Electric.

The primary role of the person filling the position is to collaborate with Business Leadership and support R&D Vice President to develop the Vision for new and emerging solution needs, while strategically evolving the India R&D team skills to creatively and diligently planning the Offer Technology Roadmap, defining customer centric new generation product platforms, and refining R&D metrics and offer creation process.
