Maintenance and Reliability Leader

Your Job

Guardian Glass is looking for a Maintenance and Reliability Leader to join the Operational Performance Team!

This role can be based out of any of our float glass facilities in the United States (Geneva NY, Richburg SC, DeWitt IA, Carleton MI, Corsicana TX, Kingsburg CA).

In this role, you will be responsible for new and existing reliability process transformation, development, and improvements globally for Guardian Plants.

You will work in a collaborative setting and partner with Guardian manufacturing facilities worldwide.

What You Will Do


* Build equipment reliability foundations for Guardian facilities


* Develop solutions and make recommendations for maintenance and operations teams using analytical tools such as RCM, FMEA, and RCA3


* Develop asset strategies for equipment and facilities, including predictive, preventative, and end-of-life


* Utilize maintenance data systems to support work orders, preventative maintenance, and reliability improvements


* Drive actionable knowledge sharing through documentation, audits, and scalable training


* Build partnerships with Operations & Maintenance teams at plant sites to improve operational performance


* Engage in the Guardian reliability transformation and support the operations team on the execution plan


* Function as a resource for follow-up on equipment reliability issues to enable continuous improvement


* Support teams with reliability input for capital projects in various areas of operation


* Travel up to 40%

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Engineering, maintenance, or reliability experience within a manufacturing environment


* Experience using reliability monitoring equipment such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and ultrasound testing


* Maintenance leadership experience


* Experience with identification and development of leading indicators for reliability of critical assets


* Willing and able to travel up to 40%

What Will Put You Ahead


* Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) or any training on Reliability Analytics


* Understanding of vacuum coater accessory machines, high-speed turbine pumps, and handling Mid frequency AC electricity sources


* Experience with RCM concepts and best practices

For this role, we anticipate paying $115k - $135k per year.
