Occupational Therapist-PRN

Exciting PRN Career Opportunity for an Occupational Therapist!

Are you a dynamic, compassionate professional ready to make a real impact on patients' lives? We're seeking an Occupational Therapist with a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy to join our vibrant team in a PRN (as-needed) position! In this pivotal role, you'll evaluate patients within 24 hours of physician referral, ensuring that timely and personalized care is provided.

When delays arise, you'll take charge and clearly document the reasons, demonstrating your attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

You'll play a vital part in creating and executing effective treatment plans, collaborating closely with physicians to gain approval and delivering the highest quality care to our patients.

Your expertise will guide the training of Restorative Aides and provide leadership as you supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in delivering top-notch care in accordance with state practice regulations.

As a key communicator, you'll work alongside fellow health professionals to share patient progress, resolve challenges, and strategize for future care.

Your contributions will also extend to Patient Care Conferences, Utilization Review meetings, and Rehabilitation Conferences—helping shape the direction of patient care for the better.

You'll be a champion of ongoing education, training facility staff through in-service programs, and empowering families and caregivers to continue the patient's progress after therapy services conclude.

Additionally, you'll help patients maintain their independence by recommending and facilitating the acquisition of essential durable medical equipment, such as braces, walkers, and grab bars.

Your impact doesn't stop there—you'll assist in the development and execution of discharge planning, ensuring that patients transition smoothly and safely out of therapy services.
