The EHS department of the J&J Beerse site is looking for an Expert Emergency Response and fire safety (Lead of internal fire department)

If you are a pragmatic, solution driven and collaborative person and passionate about Emergency Response and fire safety, then this job might be perfect for you

Major responsibilities

• You are responsible for leading the internal fire department, with 35 (volunteer) internal fire fighters.

Make sure that they are fit for the job and trained to handle all internal emergency situations in our Beerse site (Seveso TIER 2).

• You advise on fire safety and technical safety, more specific for changes and (construction) projects.

• You participate as expert in risk assessments

• You further expand expertise regarding fire safety and emergency response together with the technical departments, the insurance company and the global EHS organization.

• You develop a training plan for emergency preparedness and response and for fire safety.

• You represent EHS on the work floor to support in incident investigations, input for management of change, advice on technical topics.

• You assist or lead internal and external audits with local government and insurance company.

• You participate in an on-call system in the context of internal emergency planning at the Beerse site to act as officer on duty of the internal fire brigade outside working hours ( /- 15 weeks / years)

De veiligheids, gezondheids- en milieuafdeling (EHS) van de Beerse site is op zoek naar een Expert Noodplanning en brandveiligheid (hoofd van de interne brandweer).

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het leiden van de interne brandweer, met 35 (vrijwillige) interne brandweerlieden.

Zorgt ervoor dat ze geschikt zijn voor de job en opgeleid zijn om alle interne noodsituaties in onze site in Beerse aan te pakken (Seveso TIER 2).

• Je geeft advies op het gebied van brandveiligheid en technische veiligheid, meer specifiek bij veranderingen en (bouw)projecten.

• Je neemt als expert deel aan risicoanalyses.

• Samen met de technische afdelingen, de verzekeringsmaatschappij en de wereldwijde EHS-organisatie breid je de expertise op het gebied van brandveiligheid en BHV verder uit...
