INVISTA is seeking a contribution motivated Cost Accounting Analyst to join our CFO organization in Wichita, KS.

A successful candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, and has a passion for driving continuous improvement and transformation.

They should have a base understanding of accounting concepts and the ability to think critically.

We are looking for someone with an accounting background who wants to learn more about cost accounting and support financial audits.

What You Will Do


* Perform accounting activities that ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data according to US GAAP requirements and business needs


* Support efficient and sustainable accounting processes that facilitate strong, risk-based, internal controls and support business growth.


* Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to support decision-making.


* Identify ways to eliminate waste and add value to the organization


* Collaborate with others to understand processes and find improvement opportunities


* Seek and share knowledge and build partnerships across the global finance organization, IT, and other capabilities


* Learn and quickly adapt to new systems and processes

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field


* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365, including Excel (Ex: spreadsheet creation/editing and formula creation)


* This role is not eligible to Visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead


* 1+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role


* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis graphs, etc...
