About the role 

Reporting to the Data Engineering Manager, this role plays a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions on TWE’s cloud data platform (Helix).

You'll collaborate with an array of stakeholders to build scalable, high-performance data assets that power analytics, AI, and business intelligence, driving data-led decision-making across the business.


* Lead cloud and AI infrastructure development, ensuring scalable, production-grade solutions.


* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective data solutions.


* Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ETL processes and warehouse integration.


* Build and optimise data models to support reusable business solutions.


* Mentor and support junior engineers, driving best practices

About you 

You are a skilled Data Engineer with a passion for building scalable, high-performance data solutions.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing technical expertise with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. 


* Experience in AWS data engineering, including designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines.


* Proficient in SQL, Python, dbt, GitHub, and Airflow, with strong ETL and data modelling expertise.


* Experience developing AI solutions on AWS, with a passion for innovation.


* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business-friendly language.


* Excellent stakeholder management and communication, balancing competing priorities effectively.
