The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the rehabilitation department at an assigned facility or facilities.

This includes, but is not limited to, the delivery of direct and indirect services to in-patients and out-patients, supervision of all therapy personnel, interviewing and recommending new hires, and training all therapy personnel.

The DOR is tasked with implementing new programs to meet the needs of the facility and its residents.

This role is delegated to the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to provide both clinical and operational oversight for the delivery of rehabilitative services.

Essential Duties:


* Directly supervise and guide all therapy personnel, including licensed, registered, certified therapists, assistants, aides, and students, within the assigned facility.


* Manage daily scheduling for department staff to meet the needs of the facility.
