Vendor Management - Business Manager - Associate

The Commercial & Investment Banking (CIB) Technology - Vendor Management Team (VMO) is responsible for scoping and driving the vendor management strategy, including both software and labor, and executing vendor-related processes across CIB Technology.

The Central Processing team within the VMO manages data related to contracts, contractors, invoicing, and more, partnering closely with Line of Business (LOB) vendor relationship managers.

Collaborate with technology managers, finance and business managers, and sourcing teams to optimize vendor performance and drive continuous process improvement.

As a Business Manager Associate within the Vendor Management Team, you will be responsible for supporting the Central Processing team by managing data related to contracts, contractors, and invoicing.

Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data integrity, support purchase order processing, and enable continuous process improvement across the vendor management space.

Job responsibilities:


* Plan and manage the roadmap for taking over line of business contracts and related data management processes.


* Support day-to-day stakeholder and vendor relationships, governance, and controls.


* Ensure data integrity within the Central Management Data Base (CMDB) and perform analytics and reporting.


* Support purchase order and invoice processing, including initiation, validation, and tracking.


* Ensure optimal commercial and quality delivery from vendors.


* Enable continuous process improvement across vendor management functions.


* Maintain a strong control posture relative to vendor exposure and risk.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:


* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


* Detail-oriented with the ability to complete reporting and analytics accurately and timely.


* Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:


* Proficiency with a database (MS Access) and SQL for report generation.


* Experience with Ariba and/or Beeline systems.


* Experience in designing or maintaining a SharePoint site.
