Job Description:

HPE is seeking a Senior Director of Competitive, Industry, and Technical Marketing to establish and lead a new function reporting directly to the VP of Product and Solutions Marketing.

In this role, you will build and manage a team dedicated to creating highly relevant and technical mid-to-bottom funnel content that meets the needs of technical buyers.

You will focus on developing competitively differentiated strategies and materials tailored to various industries, ensuring our offerings stand out in the market.

This position requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in competitive analysis, industry solutions, and technical marketing, capable of driving impactful, BU-specific and cross-portfolio marketing initiatives that resonate with our target audience.

Core Responsibilities:



* Lead and grow a best in class technical, competitive and industry marketing team



* Develop differentiated and compelling technical collateral that effectively articulates HPE's cross-industry and cross-BU value propositions


* Drive technical marketing strategies to support product launches, conferences, and market penetration.


* Create and manage technical content such as whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and solution demonstrations


* Conduct market research to analyze the competitive landscape and identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the hybrid cloud industry.


* Partner closely with product management, marketing, communications, sales and geo leadership to influence and align on positioning and messaging


* Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies and countermeasures as needed.


* Leverage market research tools to help develop and refine announcement and launch initiatives.


* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows


* Collaborate with product management and sales teams to develop industry-specific solutions sales enablement that addresses customer pain points.
