Real Estate & Store Development Specialist
GENERAL ROLE
The Specialist's responsibilities include supporting the Store Development Manager on major projects, leading minor projects, leading corporate projects and leading store & facilities maintenance.
The work involves both independent and collaborative interactions; collaboration across departments, across the region and with Hermes International (HI) and designer.
The scope of work touches upon the full range of real estate assets - the store network, offices, and building facilities.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide support on major projects as needed - coordinating schedules/logistics, cost checking, shop drawing review and organizing documents
* Support minor projects which will include minor improvements to stores environment, retrofits, staff amenities room fit-outs and office fit-outs
* Work with coordinating architects and vendors to ensure each project is executed within time and budget constraints and to Hermes quality standards
* Support sustainability initiatives in design/construction/operations
* Support the qualification of local suppliers and perform factory inspections as needed
* Maintain effective relationships with Region, HI Real Estate and designated designer
* Maintain the digital archives of data, drawings & specifications
* Take care of maintenance requests coming from stores and office, answers their question, look for solutions to be reviewed by Store Development & Maintenance Manager before acceptance
* Includes maintaining small maintenance parts or supplies, etc.
Perform regular store maintenance visit & prepare the reports
* Responsible for store maintenance App & analyzing the data to prepare the preventive maintenance plan
* Educating store teams/suppliers and enforcing standards, i.e.
inspections.
Safety & security are key focuses
* Administrative work including preparing proposal, payments requests and other paperwork through MEO
REQUIREMENTS & CAPABILITIES
* Minimum 7 years of relevant experience including luxury retail industry & brands
* Experience in project management, from conception to delivery is required
* Abilities to prepare and interpret drawings, schedules, and specifications with working knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs are required
* Organizational skills including multi-tasking and time management
* Strong communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders
* Skills in administrative works such as cost follow up, preparation of proposal and payment request are required
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD
* Fluent in English
