Pricing Strategy

Title: Specialist SLS Pricing Strategy

Location: GSC BOG

Develop and manage commercial pricing plans and processes to understand customer needs, establish appropriate pricing strategies for the business, and enhance the competitive position of the business offerings, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives, as well as Group guidelines and policies for the SSA region.

Key Responsibilities:



* Develop and oversee the creation of proposals and commercial pricing programs to understand customer needs, establish suitable pricing strategies for the business, and strengthen the competitive position of business offerings.


* Deliver competitive and consistent commercial pricing proposals in accordance with established pricing policies and standards across customers, products, and countries.


* Respond to commercial pricing requests and evaluate the performance of these requests.


* Implement tools, procedures and databases to digitalize the commercial pricing process, perform profitability analysis, benchmark and facilitate price simulation.


* Support the process for price setting, analysis and review of commercial/pricing requests to achieve highest quality standards and internal controls.


* Perform profitability analysis and data quality analysis in accordance with policies and provide management reports.


* Make suggestions on commercial/pricing decisions.


* Generate reports on commercial/pricing requests and ensure appropriate data maintenance and data quality.


* Document pricing proposals and communicate to relevant stakeholders according to standards (RFQs).


* Gather information to analyze the competitive landscape and identify the target market position.


* Identify trends and recommend enhancements that provide higher quality and/or lower costs in proposals to customers.


* Quotes elaboration based on the define scope (AFR)

Skills / Requirements:


* Professionals/students in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Business, Trade or similar occupations.


* More than 3 years in pricing and freight forwarding.


* Knowledge in Price Setting, Pricing Strategy and Sales Forecasting


* Specific experience in AFR product


* Good level of MS Excel and other MS Office tools.


* Good communication in English (verbal and written).


* Customer service and communication skills.

Salary: $4.000.000

Type of Contract: Indefinite - Directly with DHL Colombia.

Performance bonus annual
Food Allowance: $95.564
