Skylake Post Acute is Hiring a Dietetic Technician!

Shift: Part-Time- 16-20 hours a week

What to Expect:


* Maintain records for each patient and review records with dietitian, specifically going over any new developments or issues observed.


* Monitor residents as they eat to ensure they are getting the proper nutrition and eating the foods that have been prepared for them, stepping in to fix any issues observed.


* Create referral recommendations for the dietitian for any patient having nutritional or eating issues.


* Test items for temperature, nutritional analysis and reception by residents.


* Design and deliver presentations, lectures and speeches on dietary issues relevant to residents and seniors in general on a constant basis.


* Monitor food safety in preparation, handling, storage and service closely.

Successful Candidates:


* Associate or Bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field.


* Currently in a nutrition-related degree program - junior/senior level.


* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.


* Knowledge of dietary software and computer literacy.


* Experience in clinical dietetics, patient counseling, and food service management preferred.


* Experience working with a registered dietitian preferred.

Rate Range: $21- $23/hour
