Systems Analyst Associate

Job Summary

The Systems Analyst Associate works with the Systems Analysts to facilitate the successful design, development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support of various software systems and applications.

This position is responsible for many day-to-day application support activities and operates under the guidance and direction of the Systems Analyst Manager with respect to system administration (changes, development, and maintenance).

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

* Implement change requests following proper change management protocol. 


* Test, debug, and document system modifications and upgrades thoroughly and accurately.


* Validate that user expectations are achieved.


* Analyze and revise existing internal system documentation as necessary.


* Ensure users are maintained per documented protocols.


* May assist in training other team members as necessary.


* Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.


* Adhere to all corporate policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations, and laws.


* Complete all mandatory annual compliance training.


* Follow regulatory requirements including those pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and OFAC to assist in the identification, detection and determent of money laundering and other unlawful activities, as well as regulations pertaining to lending and consumer compliance to include fair lending laws.


* Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. 

Job Requirements

Education:


* Bachelor’s degree in business or computer information systems, with a focus on system analysis and/or project management or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required:


* 2+ years of experience in basic systems administration and user management.


* Familiarity with quality assurance/quality control, system testing methodologies, and business documentation concepts.


* Core software application proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.


* Knowledge of bank programs, and familiarity with federal and state banking regulations.


* Working knowledge of ticketing systems.


* Superior organization skills, written/verbal communication skills, customer service skills, and time management skills.


* Adapts to frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.


* Effectively manages competing demands and is detail oriented.


* Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
