Tester

What will you do?


* Perform adjustment, functional, and operational testing on Power Control Switches following standard procesures using electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and knowledge.


* Troubleshoot and correct wiring and functional problems


* Upload firmware and download parameters, Control Panel, and other electronic components.


* Setup electronic components and protective relays per vendor manuals


* Communicate problems with the wiring diagram or outline drawing with supervision and Engineering.


* Upload firmware and download parameters, Control Panel and other electronic components.


* Set up electronic components and protective relays per vendor manuals.


* Assure quality and document all work produced


* Comply with company rules and regulations


* Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner as directed


* Participate in monthly quality feedback meetings


* Willing and able to work in accordance with Lean methods and practices


* Willing to participate in continual training and willing to assist in the training of other employees

What qualifications will make you successful?


* Associates degree in Electrical Engineering


* Wiring certification preferred


* Ability to effectively communicate with management, engineering, and other internal and external clients.


* Willingness to participate in continual training and assist in the training of co-workers.


* Experience in AC/DC circuit analysis


* Experience in electrical testing and troubleshooting


* Experience using voltmeter and continuity testing


* Ability to read wiring diagrams


* Experience with Windows applications
