Job Summary: 

The Production Engineer is responsible for maintaining current production capacity and driving improvement projects throughout the Packaging and Distribution facility.

Through the analysis of operational data and maintenance records, they continually work to minimize cycle time, equipment downtime, quality defects and material consumption.

They are responsible for defining the maintenance requirements and spare parts inventory essential for ensuring continued 24/7 operation.

They ensure the efficient interaction between production personnel and automated systems.

They support the installation and validation of new equipment and its transition into production.

When necessary, they will engage with, and manage, vendors and/or contractors.
