Demand Planning Assistant Manager

Description

• Develop and implement demand planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and identify potential supply chain issues.
• Analyze sales trends and customer demand to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust forecasts as needed to minimize excess inventory and stockouts.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts for specific business unit(s) / product line(s) by analyzing sales trends, market demand, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with traffic, production planning, and warehouse personnel to ensure appropriate routing, deployment, and storing of goods.
• Examine internal capacity and review plan to align supply and demand to meet customer requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision of demand management activities.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 6-8 years of experience in demand planning or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in developing and maintaining demand forecasts for specific business unit(s) / product line(s).
