Product Owner

IntelliTrans, (ITL), a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc.

(NYSE: ROP) is seeking a Product Owner to join our team hybrid or remote out of our Atlanta, GA office.

IntelliTrans provides multi-modal transportation management solutions for rail, truck, intermodal, and marine freight.

They specialize in freight visibility, shipment execution, and analytics, helping shippers reduce costs and improve efficiency.

IntelliTrans stands out with expertise in bulk and break-bulk shipping and real-time freight tracking.

Their solutions combine technology and logistics experience, serving industries like manufacturing, agriculture, energy, and chemicals.

Key Responsibilities:



* Product Roadmap and Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the backlog for your product or product area, ensuring that the development team is focused on work that maximizes value and aligns with product Manage mini-roadmaps based on customer, market and competitor research to inform product priorities.

Engage with customers as needed.


* Feature Definition: Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to identify and define features that solve real-world transportation management challenges.


* User Experience: UX/UI craft and iterate on user interfaces that deliver exceptional and intuitive user experiences, catering to a diverse customer Demonstrated ability to incorporate user feedback, usability testing, into design enhancements and feature prioritization.


* Software Development Partnership & Agile Mindset: Serve as the primary liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of product requirements and priorities.

Embrace and promote agile development Partner with PMO and Engineering for timely, high-quality delivery for your product features/ solutions.


* Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product to assess its success in the market and inform future development priorities.


* Stakeholder Engagement: Engage regularly with customers, sales, and marketing teams to gather feedback, discuss product enhancements, and support go-to-market strategies.


* Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand problems, validate solutions and product direction.

Conduct release demos to internal and customer teams.


* Go to Market Execution: Partner with product managers, product marketing and other Go-to- Market teams to support product Develop feature collateral and or documentation to be used as part of GTM activities.

 

Qualifications:



* Education: Bachelor's in science, Engineering, or Business; MBA Highly Desired

 

Work Experience:



* Industry Expertise – 7+ years managing SaaS product build out in TMS or freight/logistics.
+ Deep experience in trucking is crucial - ranging from Bulk/ Break bulk LTL, FL Parcel, Refrigerated, Flat bed, Heavy haul Good knowledge of other modes (rail / ocean)
