Tender Architect
Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Tender Architect in the Digital Power Systems Strategic Segments Team.
This position is responsible for power systems solution support with an emphasis in digital connected applications.
The primary focus is solution support in complex projects within the Semiconductor, eMobility, Microgrid, Healthcare and Industrial segments as well as projects in certain Federal Government departments/agencies.
This position is accountable for the development and preparation of tenders for technical projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company standards.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions that meet project specifications while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will understand customer needs and develop complex hardware and software solutions while providing consultative support to sales teams to drive more project wins.
Locations: Must be near one of our Hub Offices and work a hybrid schedule.

What will you do?
The Tender Architect is responsible for providing all aspects of solution support for medium and low voltage equipment with an emphasis in power monitoring and protection/control automation applications.
* Prepare comprehensive tender submissions outlining technical solutions, including connected equipment, edge software, and engineering/advisory services.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify opportunities, and develop solutions that address all project aspects in tenders.
* Support Bid Invest decisions by preparing proposals and conducting commercial and technical impact evaluations during the bid process.
* Evaluate incoming proposals and provide technical assessments to aid decision-making.
* Facilitate the proposal through the negotiation process to ensure successful closure.
* Maintain strong relationships with strategic internal and external customers to understand their needs and expectations.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to inform tender strategies and provide application support for Global Line of Business.
* Hybrid work schedule is required, with up to 10% travel expected.
* Certain Federal Government projects may require candidates to be U.S.
citizens.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5-10 years industry experience.
* Proven tendering experience in the Electrical Industry.
* Understand and can apply NEC equipment standards and local Codes.
* Self-motivated team player with good time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage several projects simultaneously.
