Job Description:

Job Family Definition:

The job family spans across multiple engineering disciplines.

Work consists of designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting and debugging systems, software and solutions for research and/or research development of services and solutions for HPE's portfolio.

Requires a broad knowledge and application of engineering disciplines, methodologies, and tools.

Responsibilities:


* Responsibilities include provisioning, installing, configuring, operating, maintaining, and supporting the automation of software and hardware infrastructure for HPE training solutions.


* The role involves technical research, planning, design, and development to ensure continued innovation and adherence to organizational standards and quality.


* Tasks cover HPE Servers, Networking, Storage, Converged Systems, Automation/Scripting, and virtualized environments, both locally and cloud-connected.


* Designs engineering solutions utilizing multiple engineering disciplines for products, systems, software, and solutions based on established engineering principles and in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines.


* Creates project documentation, equipment requests, R&D, technical analysis and design, as well as supporting operations staff in executing, testing, and rolling out solutions.

With a focus on ensuring a smooth transition from development to production.


* Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution.

* Experience with scripting in the following areas - required
+ Shell Scripting
+ PowerShell / PowerCLI
+ Expect
+ Python
+ Working with APIs



* Experience with setup and maintenance of automation orchestration tools - required
+ Ansible
+ Ansible Tower / AWX
+ Airflow
+ Microsoft SCCM
+ VMware vRealize Automation / Aria / VCF Automation
