Software Engineer
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.
Responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
Create secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints meet software code development.
Gather analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Project Manager, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience with the following: Linux; Windows Operating System; Kafka; Docker; J2EE; Jenkins; NodeJS; Spring; CSS3; Hibernate; HTML5; Java; Javascript; Python; Shell Scripts; PL/SQL; AngularJS; Angular7; Apache Tomcat; Kubernetes; AWS; MongoDB; and Oracle.

Telecommuting permitted up to 80% of the week.
Full-Time.
Salary: $185,000 - $185,000 per year.
