Job Summary:
The Bottler Transportation Planner plays a critical role in coordinating and optimizing the transportation of bottled goods from production facilities to distribution centers, warehouses, and retailers.

This position ensures that transportation processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company objectives, while meeting strict timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation Planning:



* Develop and execute transportation schedules to meet production and delivery deadlines.


* Optimize routes and modes of transport to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.


* Coordinate with bottling facilities, carriers, and distribution centers.

Carrier Management:



* Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation service providers.


* Monitor carrier performance and resolve any service issues or delays.


* Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Inventory and Load Coordination:



* Plan and oversee the loading of trucks to maximize space and minimize costs.


* Monitor inventory levels at bottling plants and distribution centers to prevent stockouts or overages.

Data Analysis and Reporting:



* Analyze transportation costs, trends, and performance metrics.


* Generate reports on delivery times, freight costs, and efficiency improvements.


* Identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements.

Collaboration and Communication:



* Work closely with production, warehouse, and customer service teams to align transportation plans with business needs.
