Overview
Manage local inventory and work with planning, production, and field operations to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely kitting of parts in a highly dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
* Maintains an exceptionally organized, accurate, and secure inventory,
* Processes material transactions with a high degree of accuracy,
* Stocks highly sensitive components in a manner that eliminates risk of damaged parts,
* Maintains KanBan of critical components and alerts Purchasing or Production when parts reach minimum quantities,
* Creates and maintains stockroom inventory locations in MRP system,
* Maintains an accurate inventory with minimal cycle count variances,
* Performs monthly physical inventory counts and reports that information to Accounting,
* Acts as a backup in shipping department, and other areas as assigned,
* Practices Lean inventory management concepts
* Receives pick lists, efficiently and accurately kits, and releases completed kits to production floor, within an ESD environment,
* Communicates frequently with Production Planning and Scheduling in order to respond to rapidly changing field demand
Experience
* High School Diploma and Inventory Management experience,
* Experience with electronic assemblies in an ESD compliant environment a plus,
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Ability to pay close attention to detail,
* Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment,
* Ability to maintain a working knowledge of many part numbers, descriptions, and bills of materials,
* Continuous improvement mentality,
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
* Intermediate MS Excel skills.
