in Indianapolis, IN is currently looking to fill the role of our Director of Clinical Services position (also referred to as Director of Nursing (DON) or Clinical Director).

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) who has at least 2 years of previous experience in home health or related health care organization.

Our Director of Clinical Services is responsible for direction of all home health clinical services.

The Director of Clinical Services establishes, implements and evaluates goals for providing home health services that support the mission and philosophy of our Agency.

Qualifications include:


* Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current Indiana license as a Registered Nurse


* Bachelor’s degree in nursing


* Minimum of two (2) years of management experience in Home Health or related health care organization


* Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct clinical and administrative personnel


* Knowledge of business management, Medicare and Joint Commission regulations, CHAP, as applicable


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills including the ability to market and relate tactfully with customers and members of the community

Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability:


* Plans, directs, coordinates and monitors the delivery of all direct and indirect services to Agency home care clients


* Communicates changes to staff


* Medicare and Medicaid experience, preferred


* Acts as Agency Administrator when that person is not available, as applicable


* Establishes and implements systems to inform clients and their families of the scope and nature of home health care services and community resources


* Maintains liaison relationship with attending physicians


* Conducts monthly review of records to ensure continuing home health care client's eligibility for covered services
