ABOUT THE POSITION

The Riverside County Information Technology department has an opportunity for an IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA) III.

The position is assigned to the Medical Center located in Moreno Valley.

The RUHS Informatics Department is actively seeking a highly skilled Business System Analyst III with specialized experience in Epic implementations, hospital administration, and/or revenue cycle to join our dynamic team.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of our healthcare systems and processes, making a direct impact on patient care and operational efficiency.

The Business Systems Analyst collaborates extensively with internal support teams, such as Systems Administrators, Field Services staff, Applications Support staff, Help Desk personnel, and Business Relationship Managers.

Regular interaction with stakeholders and other supported departments within the County of Riverside is also part of the role.

Finally, the Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in capturing and documenting user requirements based on end-user input for both new and existing systems, business processes, and applications.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, solutions-driven, and possess a strong analytical background with a proven track record in business analysis.

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Conduct systems analysis and design of business processes involving evaluation of current and proposed information and business process flow, available and emerging technology hardware and software, and cost/benefits.

• Analyze projects; document new organizational processes; generate reports for management on new technology.

• Develop and document user requirements from end-user input for new and existing systems, business processes, and applications.

• Select and recommend software or hardware based on systems analysis, evaluation of product, and vendors.

• Create requests for proposal (RFPs) or requirement specifications and evaluate proposal submissions.

• Implement new and modified processes and systems by performing design, application development, installation and testing.
