Manager, Global Vendor Content Operations (Temp)
ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM
The TKWW Vendor Content Team ensures that vendor storefronts on our marketplace are optimized with the highest-quality content, maximizing their appeal to the soon-to-be-wed `couples who are planning their weddings on our websites.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team on a 12-month contract basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* General operations management, including project management, data analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
* Building relationships with stakeholders (both internal and external to our team) and coordinating initiatives that span the organization.
* Representing our team's requirements when new tools, processes, or policies are being designed.
* Maintaining an overview of company-wide updates and ensuring that relevant information is captured and distilled for our team's consumption.
* Coordinating efforts between the Content Team Managers and our other functions, including the Editor, Data Analyst, etc., as well as between the two arms of the Global Vendor Content Team (sitting in Galway and Barcelona).
* Consulting with the Content Team Managers on personnel issues, ensuring relevant policies are being adhered to, and coordinating with HR as necessary (assisting with managing excessive sick leave, annual leave allowances, etc.)
* Overseeing the performance management of the team; working alongside the Data Analyst and team managers to ensure that data and reports for daily/weekly/monthly purposes are prepared on time and in full.
* Organizing and running regular Content Operations meetings, ensuring performance measures are reviewed in detail and that agenda items are gathered ahead of schedule, and adhered to during the meeting.
* Coordinating Action Plans arising from our bi-annual "Voice of the Employee" survey.

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
* Strong decision-making skills and a proven ability to use quick judgment and take action when necessary.
* Ability to create reports, analyze data, and create compelling stories using this data is essential.
* Excellent IT skills, including a high proficiency in using Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
* Experience with using Salesforce is a strong advantage.
* Experience with content writing and SEO best practices is a plus.
* Experience with SQL is a plus.
* At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
