Summary of the job:

The primary responsibility of a 3PL lead in JNJ is to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of outsourced warehousing and transportation activities, by overseeing these critical functions, the 3PL lead plays a crucial role in delivering the best services and materials to JNJ patients and customers.

Key tasks and objectives of the 3PL lead include:

Build Partnership : Build a strong partnership with the selected 3PL providers to align goals, expectations, and service level agreements, collaborate closely to ensure a shared understanding of JNJ's requirements and establish a framework for successful outsourcing.

Performance Management : Implement performance measurement systems to monitor the 3PL provider's performance against established key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements.

Regularly review performance data and conduct performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Operational Efficiency : Optimize warehousing and transportation operations to achieve maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and technology integration to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.

Risk Mitigation: Implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions to warehousing and transportation operations, proactively identify and address risks such as capacity constraints, regulatory compliance, security, and contingency pla...
