Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications
Job Summary:

Linwood Meadows Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Visalia, CA, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Business Office Assistant to support the daily operations of our business office.

This role involves managing debt collections, coordinating with insurance companies and private payers, and handling front office responsibilities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:


* Debt Collections:
+ Communicate with patients, families, or representatives regarding outstanding balances.
+ Maintain accurate records of collection efforts and update account statuses.
+ Assist with resolving billing discrepancies and implementing payment plans when necessary.


* Insurance Coordination:
+ Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for services.
+ Work with insurance companies to obtain approvals, address claims issues, and ensure timely reimbursements.
+ Coordinate with private payers for payment arrangements and follow-up as needed.


* Front Office Duties:
+ Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
+ Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized office records.
+ Assist with other clerical tasks as directed by the Business Office Manager.

Qualifications:


* High school diploma or equivalent (required).


* Previous experience in medical billing, collections, or a related field (preferred).


* Familiarity with insurance processes and billing procedures (required).


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office equipment.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.


* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.
