Job Description:

Manage weekly all aspects of test development:

• Procure, document and build manufacturing test solutions for core products utilizing hardware and software skills.

• Negotiate price and lead time for equipment.

• Prepare request-for-quote, plan/estimate schedule.

• Document test solutions.

• Work with test development engineer to debug test solutions.

• Transfer and support test solutions to manufacturing partners and support their test activities.

• Manage equipment procurement within budget.

• Work with Production Technicians and Test Engineers to support their test activities

Supplementary Tasks:

• Communicate equipment lead time and build schedule to management

• Other duties as assigned.

Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience:

• Must be detail-oriented and be an effective communicator.

• Must demonstrate high level of ownership and urgency.

• Interact and work well in team environment of multiple disciplines.

• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• Building custom test fixtures

• Soldiering and metal work

• Able to read schematics and electrical diagrams

• Sitting for extended periods of time

• Standing in an upright position for continuous periods of time

• Light lifting, under 15 lbs.

• Clear and concise communication

• Operating Office equipment

• Ability to write

• Ability to count

• Ability to read

• Ability to type

• Ability to work with computers Worksite and Environmental Conditions

• Travel to the office

• Travel to other Company offices

• Travel to Customer sites

• Inside, professional offices

• Working closely with others

Take over all aspects of building test solutions Keep up to the minute knowledge of progress on all open issues, and be able to match them up with the needs of the project.
