Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Endocrinology Outpatient

Work Schedule :

100% FTE, Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

You will work at East Park Medical Center in Madison, WI.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our ambulatory teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant:

Who Has:


* A strong passion for Endocrinology.


* Clinical rotations or past work experience in Endocrinology.

You will also:


* Provide care primarily to patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis and/or general endocrine disorders.


* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to both well and ill patients in an outpatient (85%) and inpatient setting (15%).


* Participate in the daily functions of the Diabetes Management Service.


* Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients/families with acute, chronic and/or potential health problems.

Education :
If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
If Nurse Practitioner

* Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND


* Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.

These may include the following: Emergency; Family.

If Physician Assistant

* Active PA board certification

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have
