This position reports to Senior Category Manager and is based in Ultimo Sydney, Australia

What You Will Do

GROWTH PLANNING & INNOVATION

• Utilises Category trends & category growth drivers to develop strategic category insights to inform category growth initiatives

• Partners with CBI on Shopper Insight knowledge agenda - understanding shopper behavior, shopper missions, shopper decision making

• Growth Planning: partner with Marketing to input into holistic growth plans & partner key account teams and field leaders to translate into growth plans into tailored account plans and 12-month rolling activation calendar

• Innovation: Partner with Brand to prepare the GTM plans for NPI including preparing all sales briefs, NLF's, key sell in decks, activation plans and is responsible for NPI trackers and lead action plan if required

• Communication: Identifies and feeds category shopper insights into integrated marketing briefs to deliver strong E2E campaigns.

Partners with marketing team to brief key activation to instore excellence and sales teams

STRATEGIC CATEGORY EXECELLENCE

• Category Analytics: Provides insight into category & competitor performance and drivers to inform decision making.

Work collaboratively with the Business Intelligence team and marketing on development and execution of BU RGM program

IBP - represent category in IBP meetings,communicate category performance drivers in DCM and define risks and opportunities

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

• 5 years in FMCG industry, with a focus on category management, sales, or trade marketing

• Proficiency in category management, analytics, and trade marketing

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external customers

• High autonomy in managing day-to-day tasks, with minimal supervision
