The Opportunity


* Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.


* ED/UCC experience is required.


* Must be comfortable with independent practice.


* Current national certification and DEA are required.


* Two (2) patients per hour on average.


* Current AZ state license is a plus.

The Practice

Banner Desert Medical Center - Mesa, Arizona


* A 669-bed non-profit, short-term, acute care hospital with an annual volume of 70k adult care and 30k pediatric care.


* Level 1 trauma center.


* EMR is Cerner.


* 82 hours of daily Physician coverage and 60 hours of daily NP/PA coverage.


* Serves as one of the largest and most comprehensive Cardiac Care programs in Arizona


* Serves as a tertiary referral center for the East Valley of metropolitan Phoenix.


* State of the art technology, including 3D cancer technology and da Vinci surgical robots.
