INVISTA has an immediate need for an Environmental Engineer join our Victoria, TX site.

The position reports to the Environmental Water/Waste/UIC Leader.

The Environmental Engineer creates value by acting as a business owner for the programs, developing honest & transparent customer relationships, being a servant leader in all interactions and leading by example.

What You Will Do


* Own and manage compliance for multiple federal and state regulated programs related to water This includes Wastewater Discharge, Drinking Water, Surface Water Rights and usage, US Army Corps of Engineers Permitting, Underground Storage Tanks, Sanitary Wastewater Systems


* Provide oversight and governance of programs within your area of ownership, in support of site operations.


* Innovate and transform environmental tools, training, communication of environmental requirements


* Manage and resolving constraints, change management, compliance assurance, and reporting.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Four (4) or more years' experience managing environmental programs in support of an industrial facility


* Experience with Microsoft Office to include using Excel (i.e.

create/check formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, Creating charts, calculations)


* Technical writing experience


* Experience interacting with government agencies/officials (i.e.

TCEQ, EPA)

What Will Put You Ahead


* Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Environmental Science or STEM discipline


* Experience working in a chemical manufacturing facility


* Experience with Environmental Compliance, including Federal and State of Texas Regulations


* Experience in management of Texas Pollution Discharge Elimination System permitting and permit reporting


* Experience in management or operation of a Public Drinking Water System


* Experience with advanced data management systems such as OSI PI, SEEQ or DCS


* Adobe experience to create and edit reports a plus
